About Natasja .J.M. Pattipeilohy

Natasja J.M. Pattipeilohy (1981) is a Dutch photographer. And had and still has an eclectic career which taught her a lot in understanding and the way of seeing things (through the lens). With her mixed (Dutch, Hungarian & Moluccan) background and after working and living around the world it became apparent that life in general is what motivated Natasja to keep on capturing the cast surroundings. Nowadays her photographic interests range from raw portraits to fashion photography, artistic nudes to commercial (event) assignments. In addition she spends her free time with street photography and urban exploring, photographing and exploring old abandoned buildings. Today she resides in the Netherlands. And is working as an allround freelance photographer in studio, runway and indoor/outdoor locations. Through study, workshops and seminars she keeps herself informed in photography.

In 2011 Natasja started, out of her own curiosity, a photo project called TROTS! (PRIDE!). The photo project shows the diversity among Moluccans in the Netherlands by portraits and text written by those who are portrayed. Since the year 2011 was marked "60 years Moluccans in the Netherlands", the project got published in a book "TROTS! 60 jaar Molukkers in Nederland" and has been shown in various exhibitions through the Netherlands and Europe.
